The modelling world is a very competitive industry but if you are wanting to be a fashion model different rules seem to apply, you do not need the English Rose skin you need to be “different” have a quirky look about you and a particular style, photographers love this look and can make a breathe taking photo shoot with a model who is unique.
The only rule that tends to apply is that you still need to be over 5’ 8’’ for a woman and 6’ for a man.
If you were to break into the fashion model industry then expect to be used as the face for cosmetics, walking the catwalk for designers and appearing on magazines cover page.
There are several model agencies out there so take the next step in your life and post your CV to them…

Everyone believes that to be a model it means drop-dead-gorgeous looks, 6ft + tall and a size zero figure but how wrong are you!!!
Is your dream to be a model but you do not need to tick all of the above? If so still fulfil your dreams but try modelling in different ways, you might have a stunning pair of hands, immaculate feet or stunning looks but only 5ft in height if that is the case then model your best features.
People will pay you good money to have your stunning face splashed across an advertisement that does not mean you have to be super skinny and tall as you are only modelling your face, the same goes for your teeth or your eyes.
You should always take into consideration that it is very rare in the world that we are born a catwalk model so flaunt your best bits and make the most of what you have been blessed with…
