Madonna must be pretty annoyed at loosing the Louis Vuitton job to the new up and coming younger model Lara Stone (David Williams rumoured new flame of the moment).

To kick her even further down it was Madonna’s good friend Marc Jacobs that cast the new face of the Spring / Summer 2010 campaign.  He is rumoured to have wanted a fresh face after Madonna’s 2 year stint as the face.

Madonna is obsessed with keeping her youthful looks and will do anything to keep them so this must be a big kick in the teeth to get a new girl half her age but if i was her i would not mind as she looks great for her age.

It’s the fashion trend that many of us dread, but, the mini is set to make a huge comeback once again. Of course the mini is a gorgeous design and we don’t hate mini’s themselves, rather, we hate the work we have to put into our bodies before we can safely wear them. We have to tone up our legs, get a tan, or a fake tan at the least and then we have to go through the process of buffing, shaving, moisturising and buffing our pins before we can even think about slipping into our favourite mini. In the end though, the trend is very much worth the effort and is a great Spring/Summer look.

All the major catwalk designers have been showing mini skirts alongside the harem pants and tailored trousers of late and it is clear the mini is going to be huge this season. The most popular mini’s will be tulip skirts, tailored minis and ruffled or tiered minis. Florals and stripes will be big designs for minis and will go with anything, so, get buffing those legs now!

Zara Phillips is the Queen’s granddaughter . She is also one of the most stylishly dressed and fashion forward members of the royal family. Whether she is dressed casually for a day watching the rugby or dressed to the nines for a night out, she always manages to look sexy and stylish. She is a royal who likes to experiment with fashion and obviously loves beautifully designed clothes.

Recently, Zara attended a charity poker tournament in playground of the rich and famous, Monaco. She arrived at the event with a pretty new hairstyle. Her new fringe was both flirty and sexy and gave her a very playful and energetic look. She wore an extremely glamorous one shoulder dress which was very reminiscent of the type of dress you would see a Roman goddess wearing in an epic movie. The only difference was the vibrant colour of her dress which was a brilliant and very apt royal blue shade. The dress was designed by popular British designer, Alice Temperley. Her simple but stunning look is easily achieved and bang on trend with both bold colours and Grecian style being very popular at the moment.

Marion Cotillard is the beautiful French actress who has won many awards and accolades for her turns in over 40 movies. She has also won an Oscar. She is the star of a new fashion campaign for Christian Dior, a favourite designer of the celebrities and the actress herself. Marion stars in a short film called ‘The Lady Noire Affair’ which has been made as a novel way of advertising a new Dior handbag.

Marion is a typical French woman who exudes style and glamour from ever pore. It was her performance in the highly acclaimed film La Vie En Rose which has really catapulted her into stardom but it is her elegant style and grace which keeps her there. Her style is simple but very glamorous. The clothes she wears usually have clean lines and are cut very classically. She also dresses in a very romantic style with long sweeping dresses, fishtails and sparkle when she is out at a special event. Her hair and make up are, too, always impeccable and she is set for bigger things in the future. If you want a glam look, you could do a lot worse than taking her lead.

The Costume Institute was a big event in the fashion calendar and many stars were out in force and eager to be photographed. They had all made a tremendous effort to dress up and support the fashion based event which raises a lot of money for good causes. The event was held in New York and everyone who’s anyone in the fashion and entertainment industry was there and eager to please.

One of the best dressed women who attended the event was, undoubtedly, fabulous fashion model Oluchi Onweagba who attended the event in a simply stunning black and white floor length gown with very on trend floral print. The dress was designed by Oscar De La Renta and was, for many, the fashion highlight of the evening.

January Jones attends a lot of these events and she never fails to put on a good show. She looked simply stunning in a long sleeved shift dress which was metallic and sparkled in the light of the many camera flashes following her throughout the night.

Actress Anna Friel was another well dressed woman on the night. She opted for A strappless lace bustier and a ruffle lace dress which was very romantic and utterly sexy. The night went well all in all with a surprising lack of fashion disasters.

Moma’s Party In The Garden is a fundraiser which is held every Memorial day weekend. This year the event lasted for four days and saw many famous face attend in order to do their bit for charity. On the Tuesday Night of the massive event, British stars DJ Cassidy and Estelle treated guests to amazing performances.

Estelle looked amazing on the night in an Alexander McQueen designed printed dress which embraced several of the current trends for the Spring/Summer season. The dress was black, white and pink and had an ethnic feel, she ingeniously teamed this with a black leather belt which emphasized her waist brilliantly and an oversized bronze cuff which is bang on trend for the Summer season.

She finished the outfit off with a great pair of black peep toe heels for a funky sophisticated look. Estelle’s set lasted for 45 minutes and included a dress change where she wore a sexy tribal print bodice with nude sleeves, again embracing several of the biggest fashion trends around.

I love the end of the year when you get to find out who the favourite female of 2009 is and the sexiest male of 2009 you get my drift buy most importantly is who is to be crowned Model of the Year 2009!!!

This year the ever so beautiful Daisy Lowe has been nominated at the British Fashion Awards and i really do hope she takes the crown as this girl has the most stunning of looks and she is also a fashion icon. I love the way she can dress down and look glamorous and also dress up and look even more glamorous. She makes herself look effortless and does not try to hard always showing that she is a natural beauty!

She is up against some tough completion including the likes of Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Georgia Jagger but fingers cross for Daisy Lowe she is crowned Model of the Year 2009 on December 9th 2009!

The modelling world is a very competitive industry but if you are wanting to be a fashion model different rules seem to apply, you do not need the English Rose skin you need to be “different” have a quirky look about you and a particular style, photographers love this look and can make a breathe taking photo shoot with a model who is unique.

The only rule that tends to apply is that you still need to be over 5’ 8’’ for a woman and 6’ for a man.

If you were to break into the fashion model industry then expect to be used as the face for cosmetics, walking the catwalk for designers and appearing on magazines cover page.

There are several model agencies out there so take the next step in your life and post your CV to them…

I think that Dove campaigns are amazing. Proving that you can be any size, height or shape and still look fabulous!

The campaign has proved to be a huge success and makes women appreciate that not everyone has to be a size zero to look sexy and feel beautiful.

What i love about the campaign is that all the women are confident and happy and that is all that matters.

Dove sales must have risen since the pictures have been splashed across the pages of our favourite magazines and billboards.

Gisele Bundchen is by far the most successful, beautiful catwalk model there is!

Gisele has been blessed with catwalk model looks from a young age and was discovered at the age of 14 whilst walking around a Brazilian fashion mall now look at her she has been splashed across the most luxurious magazines going from Vogue to Rolling Stones and all other fashion magazines. She is also the face of leading designer brands and will be once again leading the girls at Victoria’s Secret!

The super-model / business women / mum has also bought her own range of shoes out called “Ipanema Gisele Bundchen” that have now sold millions and been a huge successes.

There seriously is no stop in Gisele’s growing success, this is one super model who has definitely earned and deserved her multi million pound fortune, we solute you!!!
