Kelly Brook used to be renowned for having the most perfect curves. She has a gorgeous body with a tiny waist and curves in the right places. Her body is what all teenage girls want to have when they get older and what all men salivate over. So why over the past few months has she gone and got all skinny?! There have been reports that she’s slimmed right down and lost what made her famous (apart from Live and Kicking – remember that – it was ace!). Kelly this is a cry for help from all the curvy women out there – put your weight back on!
Congratulations to Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom on their extremely successful year!! I know i’m probably the last person to write about this; however I thought we needed to detail the success of this lovely couple. They met in 2007 and started dating and in June this year they announced that they were engaged. Within the following two months they announced that they had got married in an intimate and beautiful ceremony and that they are expecting their first baby. Miranda is currently seven months pregnant and glowing. What a good year for them, the very best of luck for the future!
I’ve been going to the gym for a while now and always wonder what the girls in the gym think they are going to achieve working out (and by working out I mean walking slowly on the treadmill whilst watching Coronation Street!!) with a full face of make-up on! When I go to the gym I go with no face on and do a round on different machines then go and sit in the sauna to get the rubbish out of my pores. These face on girls need to have a word with themselves! I doubt you’d catch the top models acting in the way the face on girls at the gym do, actually when you see models on days off very few of them actually wear make-up at all!
There has always been a big outrage in the modelling world regarding the weight of models on the catwalks. Traditionally if you were not a tiny size 6 or smaller, over the height of five foot ten with long legs, strong jaw line and striking features you were not even considered. Girls with the aim of being a model have starved themselves and strived to achieve this perfect ideal of the traditional model. Now there is a new army of ‘normal size’ models taking to the catwalks and in the fashion magazines and it is extremely refreshing. You can now see how the clothes look on ‘real women’ which helps you to visualise them on yourself! It must be better for their sales!
